Reigning SAC Champion Tusculum Shocked by Departure

Reigning SAC Champion Tusculm

Tusculum lost to Winston Salem State in the final game of the 97 season. Senior QB Thomas Reid decided to walk away from the program leaving a single redshirt freshman signal caller, “I know I still have a year of eligibility left, but since I`m not getting a lot of playing time I`ve decided to move on. It doesn`t look like it will payoff for me to stick around. See ya later.”

Coach Clememp caught up with the media in Greeneville, “Jason Clark is ready to start. We look forward to getting him some competition for playing time. It’s a great time to be a standout prep QB if you are looking to join the right program.”

Tusculum matriculated Thomas Anderson who led all of DII with 58 passing touchdowns last season before joining the Canadian Football League trying to make the Rough Ryders roster.
